RGIII Denies Liking Anti-Instagram Post, Blames Intern
Yesterday (Monday) The Washington Redskins announced that Robert Griffin III would be benched in favor of then back up Kirk Cousins for the upcoming season. Robert Griffin III had the starting quarterback spot going into the preseason, so he was obviously not happy to hear the news. Soon after the announcement was made, a fan posted a picture to Instagram voicing his displeasure about the team. He criticized the owners, front office, and coaching staff. A little while later Robert Griffin III's Instagram account liked the picture. Everyone noticed this since he was just benched by the team and it became a big story. Robert Griffin III later said that he was not the one who liked that photo, blaming an intern. This goes to show that people can see anything you do on social media, and if you are in the national spot light, you should change your password so interns can't log on and like posts for you.

Social media is a funny thing and as you showed through this article it can get you into some pretty rough situations. As a sports fan I have come into contact with the RGIII history and injury in the NFL but seeing just how out of hand and just how fast things can come crumbling down on you if you hit the wrong button on Instagram is truly amazing. I find it interesting that his intern liked the post on Instagram. Having Instagram myself I know that I wouldn't be handing over my password so someone else can control what I like and dislike but I guess that being in the national spot light has its perks and its disadvantages. As you stated in your blog you truly need to watch what you do on social media or it can come back and stab you in the back.
