The link above is to an article that talks about how headhunters are using social media to look for potential employees. The article states that some people may not consider a job until they have been offered the opportunity. LinkedIn seems to be the major social media site that the article talks about. I don't know much about LinkedIn as I just got an account at the beginning of the semester. The little that I have looked at it I can see how it could help find a career for someone. It just goes to show how much social media is changing and how useful it can be.
This is a really good article. I have had LinkedIn for a couple years now and it has been really helpful. It has helped me connect with others that are in my field of study and with individuals pursuing a career in the same field as I am. This has helped me get a good internship this last summer, where I already have a job offer for when i get out of school.
