Miranda Farley Blog 1-Post 3

This last article is on that I have been contemplating on writing about. The title come of as rude and vulgar in my opinion. It is "Social Media Is Making You Stupid", this article shows now author but was posted on Time.com after originally being posted on Inc.com. As I read this article, I thought that it had a good point though. That social media is a useful tool, but it also makes it eaiser to cheat or copy your way into getting good grades and passing classes. It goes into detail about a study that was done, then it shows how the study gave a vote of confidence for both groups. The ones that favor social media and the ones who don't like it. So, yes this articles title may differ you from the article, but if you give it a chance I am sure you can find some piece of information within it that will get you thinking!

  1. I liked the last part of this article that said, "increased connectivity may eventually make us stupid by making us smarter first." It makes sense. Those people could get the answer faster in a group but they couldn't do it that way on their own. Having someone else's answer kept them from doing any work of their own.
