This article has a lot of great points about social media in education. Many children today are exposed to social media at a young age. Unfortunately, a lot of those children rely too heavily on technology. While social media does have its downfalls, there are also good things about it too. Some children use sites online to learn math or improve reading skills. The article also mentioned that colleges are even starting to use social media to look in to applicants which is very interesting.

This is an interesting idea, education via social media. That is almost the premise of this course... kind of. My sister was baby sitting a kid when he tried to pinch zoom a photograph, and when it didn't zoom he looked at her and said "it's broken." That is a sign that kids are being exposed too early to it. Will kids even know how to play sports in the future? Or will social games be something reserved for just the elite? This is interesting.
