In the article "The Impact Of Social Media On Relationships", it highlighted on and showed examples of how your "relationship status" on Facebook can cause more problems than it's worth. Which I'm sure we are all subject to at one point or another changing our relationship status. Which in the moment it seems like a great idea because you and another person care about each other. But what this article hinted on is how some people get themselves in trouble is by changing the relationship status and then have a significant other wonder "why did they do that?" and then a fight starts (sometimes via social media so the whole world can see it) which then gives the affected party a bad reputation. Too sum it all up, don't do anything on social media regarding your relationship status until the other person iniates it.

ReplyDeleteEthan,
ReplyDeleteLong article, but does describe the negative side of social media very well. It's interesting how many people are either very much against or for social media, but nobody seems to be in the middle. Good article!
