The article that I chose for my second post is "Facebook Relationship Problems: How Social Networking And Jealously Affect Your Love Life". It is about studies done that show that the tolls that social media platforms, like Facebook, take on the emotions of a person in a relationship. The article says that in 2009 a study showed that Facebook actually makes a big contribution to the jealousy in relationships and divorce attorneys that have been polled have said that "Facebook flirtations" are actually part of a lot of their cases. I think that this shows just how much control Facebook has over our lives. If it can ruin our relationships with people who mean the most to us over a little Facebook post or a tagged photo, what else could it ruin? Couples in this day and age need to realize that everything on Facebook isn't a sign to run. Obviously some things are a big no no, but some girl writing on your boyfriends wall to tell them happy birthday, is no sign of a red flag.

This article is very similar to one that I have blogged about the other day! It has seemed to me that each article that I have found and a few that I have read here have the same common underlying themes. We worry so much about others ruining our relationships when in reality it is just us being over bering and jealous! We need to stop worrying about everyone else and focus on ourselves and significant others!
