The title of the article is How Social Media is RuiningPolitics. This article has many talking points about how this new age of politics have been using social media. The article starts with talking about all of the different social medias that the candidates are using. With all of the social media talk they listed the number of followers Sanders with two million and Trump with 4 million were the leaders. They then talked about how Bush and Clinton's are bland and just informative.
The main talking point is about how there have been two main changes in the way politicians have had to evolve with media. The first being radio. The the second being T.V. When radio first came out the politicians had the new ability to talk to the whole country at once, instead of just at rallies. When the T.V. came out the politicians had to now be very aware of their appearance. Now the experts think that social media will the be the third change that politicians will have to adopt. With social media we can see what they are up to at any given point. It will also let us see what they think of small topics that come up.
I picked this article because I like to think that I am up to date on what politicians are up to because I follow a lot of them on different social medias. I think that it is a good thing for us to follow them because it give us a better picture of who they really are.
