The article I found for this post discusses a post made by Kim Kardashian promoting a morning sickness drug, The FDA said though that this post does not give information about the risks that are associated with the drug. This article reveals the dangers that can come along with using social media if we believe everything that others post, especially people who are famous that are promoting a certain product. Often times post can leave out relevant information that can be extremely important for a person to know. This is relevant because we need to know how to do our own research on a product to find out everything about it and not believe everything that we see on social media.

I do not use social media in personal life, but I was surprised I had not heard about this. I agree with Sasha that we need to get all the information about a product. By blindly following advice from a post we could make horrible decisions. Taking advice from a friend or celebrity over social media is not a bad idea, but it can not stop there.
