The link above will take you to a article about how social media is hurting our friendships. It states that people are too concerned about what is going on in social media instead of the real world, where friends are actually friends. Also the article talks about how people are failing to have real conversations anymore, nothing is face to face. It is important to able to talk to someone face to face because this is how you are going to get a job. This relates to our module because it shows the negative impact of social media on relationships.
I really like your posts in this module. You don't just post about romantic relationships, you look at all relationships that help mold our daily lives. I hadn't even thought of social media affecting friendships, but now that I think about it, it might actually affect friendships just as much as romantic relationships.
ReplyDeleteI liked this post because I can relate very well. I have a very busy schedule and sometimes can't reply to messages, texts, or emails. Some of my friends get really upset about it but there's nothing I can do but apologize and get back to them when I can. I haven't lost any friendships because of this but it sometimes makes things a little tense.
