Mod. 3

This article is interesting in how he thinks about things for social media and search engines. While he took in to account that everyone pretty much has one devise to connect to the Internet, he states that the Internet is letting us become to distracted from time hold tasks. We have become to easily distracted by things all around us and this is what the article talks about. This author has written a book about the topic and refers to his own life and how things have affected him and it bring this to light that we are also experiencing the same things but we have not thought about it in that way.

  1. Lisa, I remember when the three big video game platforms were released back in 2001 and reports about attention span began popping out left and right. Studies showed that video games shortened attention spans, and now the effect seems to have shifted from video games to social media, and I am fully on board with the theory. I agree with the point you and the article makes.
