This article talks about ten different ways that social media is transforming our world. First by challenging the status quo, especially by connecting previously disconnected buyers and seller. The little man now has a big step up towards large corporations. Another point made in the article is that we now can learn from each other much more easily. We use social media to collaborate ideas and build off of each other. We can build relationships with people from all over the world and share everything. It generates new meaning and understanding of people and other cultures therefore making it easier to build relationships. Social media gives us more ways to connect with people from all over the world and to create new relationships. Before social media and the Internet many of these connections would have been impossible.
