This social media site is one that I had never heard of before. It is a site to create communities around things that interest you. It allows anyone create a social network around whatever subject they want. This website has Java, and also has an app for people to use. To create the social network that the user wants, there are pre-made template for people to customize to their liking. Ning offers a free trial to start, but charges after that. The packages range from $25-99, and offer different features with each.
For our NPO, Classic Car Collection of Kearney, I think that this would be a good way to get their name out there. The fact that classic cars are a hobby for a lot of people, a social network that focuses on old cars would be ideal for CCC of Kearney. All it would take is someone in one of those groups to bring up the collection and the advertising would go from there.
I have never heard of this website before. I like how it connects you with things of your interest that are around you. One huge downside the face that you have to pay for different features. That would be a good for CCC to show off what they have to offer and get their name out.
ReplyDeleteThis platform sounds pretty interest-Ning! It really seems like a place for people to collect about common interests. I can imagine this being useful if you move to a new location or if someone new in your area is looking to get connected.
