Traysea Gilmore Module 5 Post 1

I saw that someone else did meetup.com but I thought it was an interesting site and that it would be beneficial for my group's NPO. Meetup is a free social media platform with more than 23 million users worldwide. I was surprised to read that there were this many members and I'd never heard of it before. This site makes it easy for people in a community to meet with others that share the same interests. The site is pretty easy to navigate but if someone needs help there is a page with a lot of helpful information. I think this could be a good platform for the Kearney World Theatre to have because there are a lot of people in town that are interested in film and plays but it can be difficult to find and connect with them. The theatre could make a group and get word out about meetings which could lead to more people attending. It isn't well known but I think that this NPO would benefit from getting involved in this platform.
