Welcome to the CSIT 338 Blog.  This is where we will be doing part of our discussion for the Social Networking course.  Just in case, here is a reminder of what you need to do for the first week and beyond:

For odd modules in this course (1, 3, 5, 7), you will be required to post relevant articles to the course blog located at http://csit388.blogspot.com/. The articles you post must relate to social media/networking and also to the topic being discussed during that module.  For this opening module, you only need to post articles related to social media/networking (no specific topic need be addressed for Module 1).  For each blog post you will need to put a link to the articles you found and then write at least a paragraph explaining the article and why you feel it is relevant to what we are studying in that module.  For Module 1, you are only required to post 3 articles. You will need to post 5 articles per module in the future (Modules 2-8). You may not post all of your articles in one day.  You will receive credit for only one article per day, so begin early during the modules.

Each of you will be sent an invitation to join this blog as authors, meaning you can post to the blog and comment, but you cannot delete posts or modify posts.

The second part of your assignment will be to comment on at least two other posts from your classmates.  These posts should add to the conversation about the articles by expanding on the thoughts expressed by your classmates and asking questions as well.  The blog assignments take the place of discussion boards for this course, so these will need to be conversations, not just affirmations such as "good point" or "I agree".

Please use this as a way to discuss relevant aspects of social media.  Be considerate of your classmates' opinions and be sure to add to the discussion.
