The title of the article sums up a base for the main points covered. I chose this article because it offers both sides of the argument. The article begins by setting aside all of the information out there about social media and wants the reading to focus on their own opinion. This approach is one of the main reasons I wanted to share this article because I want people to make their own opinions from the facts presented and not outside opinions that are often irrelevant. Megan gives an example of the social and anti-social movement and links to books supporting one side or the other. As the article progresses she talks about the concept in chapter one of our textbook. She discusses the idea of businesses overuse of social media and how it is impacting the professional world. Even with the backlash at the business world’s overuse with social media she concludes that an overall balance of social media and face to face communication is the path to strive for.
