Module 7 post 4

The Future of "Social" Media

In this article by Drew Heriot from the Huffington Post he gives seven tips on how to have a better experience on social media for the future. I am only going to talk about a few from the list.  1, Problems are serious but the solutions don't have to be, he goes to talk about how a little humor is okay sometimes during a serious situation.  3.  Don't make your target audience the baddie, meaning do not demonized the people that follow you. 4 Target the people who really want what you're offering. 5 Strike while the iron is hot, talk about things that are going on right now.  I think that if more people follower some of these rules social media would be a more pleasant place to visit more.

  1. This article brings up several great points as you stated in this post. So many people will post inappropriate or irrelevant statuses/photos that it makes using social media an almost painful experience at times. I believe that social media should be a place where people are able to come together to talk about relevant topics and even crack jokes with one another. If people do follow these rules than social media would be a much nicer place to be.
