This article, like many others, explains the differences between the web eras 1-3.0. It talks a little more in depth about web 2.0 and 3.0. The part of this article that I liked the most was the Ted Talk video that was included. It's long but it is a video of a computer scientist talking about Web 3.0 and he includes some very interesting information.
