I chose this article because it talks about a whole new social networking site, saying that "Facebook and Twitter are SO over!". I think its like a fresh breath of air rather than the same ole' Facebook this and Twitter that. This article talks about the new social networking site Nextt. People are saying that when this comes out, it will be the next big thing. Nextt is all about the future and planning. This app is for people to come together and share ideas and experiences and make a future happen. Not only does Nextt let you express yourself through social media, but it also lets you know how you're coming off to your viewers. I think this app could either make a huge splash or be left wading in the kiddie pool.
It's very interesting whenever a new social media platform comes along and states that it will blow Facebook and Twitter out of the water. This certainly brings some hype for the site, but the problem is living up to the expectations. There are so many platforms that have tried to compete, but ended up failing miserably. This could be one of the rare cases where it actually succeeds, but it will be interesting to see how it actually plays out once it is released.
