Module 7-Article 3

For my third post I chose to look at this article because it really made some good points about how much social media has changed marketing.  It used to be so simple, you made an Ad then it published on the TV and Radio and that was it.  But now with social media you have to be sure your advertisements are on those sites so users can see your Ad.  If you're newcomer to the block in the market place then you need really get on the ball as far as marketing goes on social media.

  1. What an excellent article! There are many different aspects that advertisers need to think about when marketing their products on social media. On the TV or radio, advertisers would simply reach a mass audience. However, on social media there is a more specific audience. Something you post on Twitter my not appeal to a Facebook audience. Also, when posting ads on social media marketers need to realize that for different platforms there needs to be different types of ads. Such as a post on Instagram can't be the same type of post on Facebook.
