In the last article that I found it talks about the evolving of web 3.0. First off there was web 1.0, which was the start of internet and being able to surf the web. Next came web 2.0 which most of us are familiar with. This brought out faster surfing, control, more social, and just all around a better experience for the user. Now web 3.0 is brings more to the table. Web 3.0 markets to the user and bring them to what they are more interested in to their profiles. It knows where you go and can suggest since you got this you may like this. This is basically taking each and everyone who uses the internet and sets up a target market for them. I think it is pretty cool how web 1.0 started off a just a search engine basically, now web 3.0 is fitting to you.

I think its cool too that they are making web 3.0 to fit the user now. Its kind of like how technology is coming out with watches like the FitBit and new iPhones just to fit the user as well. If you think about it, it all starts with the internet or circulates back to it.
ReplyDeleteAlex,
ReplyDeleteIt seems Web 3.0 is going to be really helpful in terms of finding things that may interest you as it will help give suggestions.
Alex, Web 3.0 is probably one of the greatest things since sliced bread. For instance on Facebook when it gives you "suggested friends or suggested pages" to like it makes it hard not enjoy the technology. It is crazy too think they have come this far with social media, making it a 'working body' almost. I wonder what they'll come up with next.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing at how far the Web has progressed over the past few decades. I also think that it's fascinating that nobody truly knows what Web 3.0 will all entail. I think that much of Web 3.0 will be all about personalization, and tailoring the Web to each individual user.
