For this article, I actually read another person's blogger post about the topic. They listed some opinions and a list of pros and cons. However, I am a bit confused about how people can write down pros and cons of something that doesn't even have a true definition. I understand that we can get an idea of what we are working with once we have had some good experience with it, but I don't know that I will ever get over the fact that we don't really know how to define something that is a part of our daily lives.
You made an interesting observation. Usually it isn't until after an era happens that it can truly be defined. The bronze and iron ages weren't defined until much later, but the era's of Web's will be even more difficult to define and evaluate.
