Traysea Gilmore Module 5 Post 2
Whisper is a platform that I haven't heard much about. It is similar to Yik Yak in that users can make anonymous posts. There is an app for tablets and phones as well as a desktop site. It is very popular among younger users and they "confess" things that they wouldn't normally confess to people. I don't see this platform as being beneficial to any non-profit organization. It doesn't bring in a larger audience and does nothing for business.

It seems like this could maybe turn out to be bad if someone were to confess something illegal. I have seen pages on Facebook that allow people to do the same thing. However, the admin of the group can see who is actually posting. I think this is a good idea for security purposes.
