A Brief Introduction to Web 3.0
This article really gave a great overview about what the expectations of Web 3.0 will be. It explains the many different "layers" of what Web 3.0 is, this is told to include Rich web, translation layer, static web and internet. It described the availability of access of data as the biggest benefit to web 3.0. It shows a neat little graph comparing web 1.0, web 2.0 and web 3.0. What I liked most about this was that it defined web 1.0 as the push of the internet and described web 2.0 as sharing. This meaning that videos sharing and pod casts are just a few definitions of web 2.0. Then it stated that web 3.0 was live, including real time creative web and all media flowing out of virtual worlds. This diagram was vey informative and eye opening for me, it really demonstrated how the different "versions" of the web worked and created something bigger for the internet from that.
I really like how the article that you posted breaks down exactly what the difference is between all the different webs. Its really interesting to see that web 3.0 is going to react personally with the user instead of having the user react to what they see and read. I really like how the web 3.0 pushes for access to the web from everywhere, which doesnt limit use as users to what we can do. It also helped that your article posted links to things such as Wikipedia and the page for Web 3.0 on there. Overall its truly limitless what our future holds.
