Web 3.0 - The Future of the Internet

This article just give a brief history from Web 1.0 to 2.0 and finally to 3.0. It is not very in-depth but when you don't really understand the difference between the different Webs (like me) it gives a nice overview. It talks about where 1.0 has gone, what 2.0 gives us and how everything is changing or at least focusing differently with 3.0. The article finishes up with a brief paragraph concerning marketing and 3.0. This whole concept of 3.0 and everything being personalized toward my searches, likes and dislikes feels a little like Big Brother. How do you branch out to new ideas if everything is tailored to what I already like?
