Today's Web 3.0 Nonsense Blogstorm

http://radar.oreilly.com/2007/10/todays-web-30-nonsense-blogsto.html

I chose this article because I always like to play the Devil's advocate to challenge people's beliefs and expand their minds. This article challenged the term Web 3.0 and implies that there might be a different term. This article gives a variety of opinions of multiple professionals and heavy users that help me play the part of Devil's advocate.

  1. I also like this aspect and reasoning of this article. I feel like I am able to learn more when I can see things at all different angles and then can my an opinion on something. It is kind of scary the information that computers and mobile devices can keep on you, or remember due to previous searches. And we often wonder how hackers get our information all the time. There are a couple of things that I keep "logged-in" on all of the time, but so much of that I am afraid to do in case I lose my phone or someone takes it. Just like how you can scan your credit card from your phone to pay for something...What happens when someone gets that phone and goes and spends all your money? Technology is great, but can be scary. I think it only becomes scary when people begin to be too trusting with it.
