This article describes what Web 3.0 will be like, and how a small business owner could use it to their advantage. Essentially, it is a "smarter" Internet that knows how to refine your search. Instead of getting millions of results, it will narrow those results to specific possibilities based on location, job, age, and purchase history. However, some commentary I have read points to a less accessible Web to smaller businesses wanting to use the premium functions of certain social media sites to grow their business. The implications may not be the same for personal account use.

I find it frustrating when I can't figure out how to define my search to get the results I'm looking for, and hope it can get better. I've also read some articles that say it will be more difficult for small businesses to use Web 3.0.
ReplyDeleteI think just like with what Colby said its frustrating not being able to find credible sources while using the internet so i think that this new Web 3.0 is going to make not only help with academics but it will help the consumer when they are trying to find articles and news that they find relevant. I think web 3.0 has virtually limitless possibilities and the future of the net is bright yet also terrifying.
