Twitter Ads Can Now Target Specific Mobile Devices

http://www.b2interactive.com/blog/twitter-ads-can-target-specific-mobile-devices/

I really liked this article because I thought it combined the concept of Web 3.0 with certain aps being specific to mobile devices.  This article talks about how advertisements can be specific to the type of phone a person has and the version of phone they have.  That is exactly what we have been talking about this week.  Web 3.0 targets us on our likes and dislikes and not they are producing aps and ads that targets us with the device we use.  I still think it's a scary concept that everything is going to be make more specific to use just because we his a like button.

  1. It is a scary thing! It almost makes me not want to use my mobile device for lots of stuff; visit websites, or shop. I don't do a lot of buying from my phone, but I have before and this kind of makes me want to stray away from that. It amazes me that we continue getting more and more advancements with mobile devices, and with Web 3.0, it is just making it easier and easier for people to shop, or find articles or other things that interest them. Do you think all these advancements makes it easier for hackers to get into your stuff? I do. I mentioned that in my first article I think...so many people do banking and pay for stuff with their credit cards on their phones. What if you lost that phone? Or, does the Web 3.0 just make it easy for others to get into by remembering all this information?
