This article explains how Web 3.0 will use semantic technology to help refine your search. It gives some examples of how some search engines are already doing this, and how they might improve to make Web 3.0. Wolfram Alpha was one site I used a lot in high school to help with Calc. It's a very powerful search engine that will answer quite a few questions you ask, and can show complex math problems in an easy to read format. Some of the other examples include Google Squared, and Siri. All of these search engines have become more helpful because they understand better what we are looking for, and with Web 3.0 this will only improve.
The question that needs to be answered is, "What if we don't know what we want". If I never took Calc and wanted to search for sites, would everything come up as Algebra because that is what I have searched for in the past? Sometimes I want to branch out and it is difficult when everything that comes up is based on what I have liked in the past.
