Tyler Walker Module 7 Post no. 1

This article summarizes the rise of social media to the present day. It also has a short video about the history of social media. After the article discusses the history of social media, in brief detail, it shares eleven different predictions about social media’s future. Most of the predictions sound like science fiction. This reminds me of the “Back to the Future” joke where we should have flying cars and hover boards. Of course we do not have either of these. Although, technology is advancing at a much faster rate now then it did in the 1980s. Most of the predictions involved social media becoming more involved in our daily lives. Some even talked about have technology fused in our clothes to learn our likes and dislikes. This would be similar to a website giving you advertisements based on your search history. Whatever social media will change into the ideas people have will never stop. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for social media.

This article discusses the potential social media platform of the future, Nextt. Nextt is different than other social media sites becaue it is seen as a "private" social media site and is far more personal than than social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. One interesting feature of nextt is that it helps you plan for a short term future. Nextt does not help you plan for things like becoming a millionaire or flying cars, instead Nextt is designed to aid users in creating future plans with friends. Nextt is about increasing the quality of human interaction, and is not designed to generate a large group of followers, freinds, or "likes."

Web 3.0 Upcoming! New Technologies That Will Blow Your Mind

http://www.onlinecollege.org/web-3.0-tech-will-blow-your-mind/

My favorite part about this article is that it talks about the social media sites that most of us hold near and dear in our hearts. It is hard to imagine life with out Facebook or Google (+). The author of this article believe that these will not fade, they will continue to thrive. He believe that they will become the infrastructure that the new internet will build off of. I also thought that it was neat that they included google's driver less car. Who knows, soon enough we won't need to drive our selves around, talk about food for thought!!

The next step in social media is the the combination! All parts of our lives in one location. This article talks about a new place or platform of social media that will serve as an aid to all current ones. Vivaty will be 3D hub that will have a portals to all of a persons social media platforms but in forms that will be items in real life. A photo album will be a picture frame on the wall to click on. Vivaty will be use Web 3.0 and will serve as a real life "Sims" but with our own lives. The author of the article is careful and says that it is not more important not should it replace actual social interactions, but this is something that will supplement it. Now that Web 2.0 is becoming the past, this will utilize Web 3.0 fully.

The merging of social media, payments and mobile

This article talks about how social media is driving retail sales into the black.  First there has been a 200% increase in commerce referrals.  Next mobile is becoming the preferred way for business to sell things to their consumers.  They believe that there will be $91 billion in sales over mobile by 2019.  The next part talks about how Twitter is making a button on tweets that let you buy things right from the tweet.  Finally it goes into how if more social media hubs start to partner with business they can help each other make a larger profit.

This article basically sums up how much social media has progressed over the last decade, and what the future of social media might look like.  There are 11 different predictions of what may be in store for the future of social media.  Many of these predictions are taken from people that are currently working within the social media. It’s predicted that within the next four years, 2.44 billion people will be on some form of social media platform.  Social media platforms will continue to evolve, and according to the author, social media may even be integrated into what we wear, and track our habits.  This may already be taking place, thanks to Apple’s iWatch, Fitbit, and other forms of wearable items, that track daily movements. However, in the future, these movements may be integrated into an individual’s social media profiles, which will share a person’s progress with their followers.

This article just discusses what 3.0 will do. It says that Web 3.0 will be like a personal assistant. The more you search, the more it will will know about you and the less searching you'll have to do yourself. This article doesn't bring it up but privacy is a big issue when talking about Web 3.0 because there is a line that people don't want crossed.

web 3.0 article #4

Each week, I try to find different aspects of our article themes.  Some articles are short, some are long and some come with videos or slideshows.  I was trying to find something that related to Web 3.0 and education, since that is my  major and came across this table and had to share.  I think it was in our e-mail this week about trying to keep the costs down down for college students and I am hoping that technology can keep helping with that.  Last semester, I had a class that didn't use a text, but strictly articles and videos found on the web.  And with this class, I feel like we are getting the same kind of thing with all the articles we have read each module.  I am very grateful for that!  I am also hoping that this would help for low income schools.  I know the initial cost of having computers, printers, etc. is expensive, but the low cost of not having to purchase a bunch of books every couple of years would be worth it.  So, I am a little random this week, but I also included an article on some statistics I found, specifically relating to low-income schools.

The first article I found was about the predictions of what social media may be like in the future. As some people discuss how it has evolved and changed so much in the last 10 years they believe what will be next will blow most peoples minds. Some people believe that we will be able to use portals to transfer information. Also that we will be able to know what someone else is thinking and not be anywhere near them. Some of these predictions to me sound ridiculous. I do not understand how people will develop technology that can transfer thoughts without do anything.

There is no denying that social media has gone through some major changes within the past decade, and that there are more changes to come. This article predicts what the major changes in social media will be in the next few years. According to the article, 200 million people use social media and by 2016 that number will increase to 2 billion users. Therefore, social media platforms are looking to improve their sites. One major change is to have the platforms focus more on personality, meaning social media users will need to have a complete profile. Users can refuse to add a picture or bio to their page; however in the upcoming years this may change, due to the fact that a complete profile can help advertisers target their audience better through ads using complete profiles. Another prediction is social media platforms will be able to tailor their content to specific users in real time. If this were to happen advertisers' messages will not get lost in the enormous amount of information that may show up on a person's news feed. Overall based on these few predictions, we are in for some major changes to our social media sites over these next few years.

Web 3.0 Companies

I found an article that discusses how many companies are using web 3.0 to their advantage and how they stand out above the rest. The article found that the companies that are prospering with web 3.0 have many of the same qualities; the qualities they have are they each have unique traits to them, most started small and grew rapidly, they are considered or becoming household names, they are using Web 3.0 marketing tactics and are all pioneers in their space. The article later goes on to pinpoint the business side of these companies as well. My article goes on to explain how businesses like Kindle or Amazons wireless reading device, allows people to read eBooks on the go and you can find, buy and read books instantly with its wireless access. This is just one staple of the Web 3.0s future but i like this article because it explains what everyone is doing with Web 3.0.

What Does Big Data Mean for the Future of Social Media?

http://www.smartdatacollective.com/ryank/358334/what-does-big-data-mean-future-social-media

This article discusses the challenges that have faced social media sites, and the challenges they face in the future. Although, the popularity of these sites is growing, the money does not necessarily show that. Revenue growth is not increasing like it has been predicted. However, "big data" might change that. With more information, the social media sites are able to do more with it and capitalize on it. The biggest problem that they face is that most of the data that is collected is spontaneous and hard to make useful. I thought that this article was interesting because it shows monetary side to the future of social media.

Chance Bila- Module 7, post #1

my article discusses the predictions of social media sites in the future. probably the most interesting potential new feature of social media is "kniting" and streaming of live video. The theory is that when news breaks it can be seen live through an array of eye witnesses. This would allow viewers to feel as if they were at the event in actual time. This could really interconnect the world in a matter of seconds as things occur.

The Future of digital ads: Native and social set to spike

In this article by Althean Chang of CNBC it talks about how advertising is being affected by software.  It starts off with talking about how there are many different ad-blocking softwares that are forcing advertiser to find new ways to get around the software, they think that it will cost publishers about 22 billion dollars in 2015.  Because of all of the ad-blocking that is taking place advertisers are starting to use native advertising.  Advertisers will also be hitting social media advertising hard so people will see their stuff.   There is expected to be around 23.68 billion dollars spend on social media advertising, and by 2017 around 35.98 billion.

This has more of a presentation, rather than an article, but it had a lot of good information with not a lot of words, if that makes sense? :)  The information that relates more towards Web 3.0 starts on slide 37 and goes on from there.  This focuses more on what students are learning where technology is concerned and if they are getting the proper information.  I remember in high school we were all just getting cell phones and schools were just getting grants for students to borrow laptops from school.  Now look at what students have; smart phones, I Pads, smart boards, etc.  It is not only expensive to keep up with the times, but it is hard to "prepare" students when technology is constantly changing and evolving.

Web 2.0 and Web 3.0

This article explains the main points of web 2.0 and 3.0 but what I really like about it is that it talks about how many people don't agree that we are yet in the realm of web 3.0. The biggest part of the article in my view though is that the way web 3.0 is really vague yes there is a lot of new technology coming about and yes there will soon be search engines designed strictly for the individual user but really not many people know the exact features of web 3.0 The article then goes on to say the internet is being controlled by governments not letting free and open internet access to all. This seems to me like a huge deal and really gets into politics and the social media and internet that goes with it.

Web 3.0: The Third Generation Web is Coming

https://lifeboat.com/ex/web.3.0

This article states that "Web 3.0" isn't even the unanimous name for the next generation of the worldwide web. Web 2.0 wasn't even "picked" as the name for its period of the internet revolution. John Markoff was the one who suggested calling the next generation of internet Web 3.0, but there has been no ground made on what this is going to be labeled as. This suggestion has sparked quite the debate! If there is one thing that we know, it is that the availability to connect just about anywhere we are is a big factor in the next generation of the web. This article gives quite a list of what is supposed to be a part of web 3.0. As Nova states, "Web 3.0 will be more connected, open, and intelligent, with semantic Web technologies, distributed databases, natural language processing, machine learning, machine reasoning, and autonomous agents. The article that I found clearly defined what the two previous web 1.0 and web 2.0 were and then went on to discuss how web 3.0 is changing the way that people use the internet. It recognized that web 2.0 made two way communication through different social media connections but the article went on the explain that web 3.0 will personalize web search tailored to you. What you like what you are looking for and who you are looking to connect to. A Brief Introduction to Web 3.0

http://www.1stwebdesigner.com/web-3-introduction/

This article really gave a great overview about what the expectations of Web 3.0 will be. It explains the many different "layers" of what Web 3.0 is, this is told to include Rich web, translation layer, static web and internet. It described the availability of access of data as the biggest benefit to web 3.0. It shows a neat little graph comparing web 1.0, web 2.0 and web 3.0. What I liked most about this was that it defined web 1.0 as the push of the internet and described web 2.0 as sharing. This meaning that videos sharing and pod casts are just a few definitions of web 2.0. Then it stated that web 3.0 was live, including real time creative web and all media flowing out of virtual worlds. This diagram was vey informative and eye opening for me, it really demonstrated how the different "versions" of the web worked and created something bigger for the internet from that.

Layne Rogers - Module 7, Blog 2

With the new innovations of Web 3.0, there has also been advances in the way people do recruitment. Back when Web 1.0 started, recruiting people for a job consisted of posting an advertisement and waiting for a response via email or call. Nowadays finding people for a job has become a more connected and people sharing aspect within Web 3.0. With this new form of the Web, there has been better branding. However, with Web 3.0 the talent pool is decreasing and job opportunities are available to passive seekers. Therefore, trying to find people with a special skill can be more difficult than it has been in the past.

I especially liked the chart near the end that had the differences between Web 1.0-3.0. It focused specifically on the web in respect to education. One of the differences was that teachers in Web 1 and 2.0 were licensed professionals but with Web 3.0, everyone, everywhere can be a teacher. Schools were in a building for Web 1.0, in buildings and online for 2.0, and everywhere and thoroughly infused into society with Web 3.0.

Web 3.0, Facbook Graph Search, Bing:  What It Means for Brands

http://thesocialmediamonthly.com/web-3-0-facebook-graph-search-bing-what-it-means-for-brands/

The article shows how Facebook is already using Web 3.0 with it's Graph Search.  The search is all about how many likes a business has.  For example while Foot Locker may be the most popular store across the nation but if Bob's Shoe Barn has more likes in Kearney, NE when somebody searches Bob's will be listed before Foot Locker.  All based on how many "Likes" are in that area.

This is the first article that I have read which shows the Web 3.0 being not as personalized by an individual but more personalized by a community.  I am not a big fan of anything that I have read about Web 3.0 and personalizing everything over what I search for.  This now makes it personalized on what my neighbors like regardless that I like Foot Locker better than Bob's.  It takes the individual out of the community.

Web 3.0 Article #2

http://www.dialoguecafe.org/blog/2012/04/the_pros_and_cons_of_web_30_how_to_meet_the_challenge_of_the_semantic_web.html

This short article gives us a look on some pros and cons of Web. 3.0  One of the cons that I never really thought of, is how people are more than likely going to spend more time on the Internet.  It will be easier, things will keep popping up that they are interested in and so on.  I know I already spend plenty of time on my phone and I really try to stay away from it when my daughter is home from preschool, or when we are with other people.  I don't want to ever be "that" person who is glued to their screen all the time.  Do you guys have anything that you would add to the list?  Or, something that you don't agree with being on the list?  The first one on the con side is "Privacy policy is needed more than ever."  I wonder how difficult of a task it is to have to keep changing codes, or other things from hackers getting into their systems?  It exhausts me just thinking about that task.

Luke Friesen- Module 7 Post 4: Banking and Web 3.0

http://www.infosys.com/industries/financial-services/white-papers/Documents/innovate-banking.pdf

Most of the Web 3.0 features we think about bring concerns of security with the increased involvement of social media sites and their almost-human-like knowledge of what we need. This article tells about the increased capabilities of banks to provide custom advertisements and make more informed decisions for granting loans based on the idea of the  "semantic web." Because more and more sites will be connected to each other for the purposes of compiling data about individuals or businesses, banks/lenders can get a better idea about their potential loan applicant based on multiple sources of data, given that they are credible. The borrower can gain more information about the lender as well, since it's not a one-way street. The Web 3.0 can "lend" aid to smarter investments for lenders and loaners.

This article explains how Web 3.0 will use semantic technology to help refine your search.  It gives some examples of how some search engines are already doing this, and how they might improve to make Web 3.0.  Wolfram Alpha was one site I used a lot in high school to help with Calc.  It's a very powerful search engine that will answer quite a few questions you ask, and can show complex math problems in an easy to read format.  Some of the other examples include Google Squared, and Siri.  All of these search engines have become more helpful because they understand better what we are looking for, and with Web 3.0 this will only improve.

While we can all appreciate some of the expected benefits of Web 3.0, we must also consider some of the negatives as well.  According to this article, with the increased information of the consumer used to predict searches, there will also be more information for hackers to use in various scams.  Web 3.0 will allow people to use more personal information to try and send spam your way.  The article also outlines how big companies will attempt to control the direction of Web 3.0 as it becomes more lucrative to do so.  Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google have already begun the next step to control the Web.  Like everything else, innovation comes with both good and bad.

This article focused on Web 3.0 with an Ecommerce perspective. The use of Web 3.0 is to capitalize on how the social web network has become larger, and how to personalize the shopping experience the Internet consumers. For example, if someone were to do an Internet search for wedding dresses, advertisements would then pop up that focus on wedding dresses. The article then goes on to predict what Web 3.0 will look like. Hopefully, more shared data could be collected without the violation of privacy. Therefore, security is a key issue with this new form of software.

Web 3.0 will likely change the way we think of the Web.  This article has a short video attached explaining some of the changes that experts believe will distinguish the new Web.  Some of the changes they believe will take place include the Web being more intelligent and begin searching for the interests of the user, and not just a keyword or two.  Web 3.0 is expected to communicate with other devices the use has used to predict what they are interested in and deliver it faster.  Some of the characteristics of Web 3.0 may be disputed, but one thing is for sure, it will be a lot different than Web 2.0.

Luke Friesen- Module 7: Blog Post 3

This article describes what Web 3.0 will be like, and how a small business owner could use it to their advantage. Essentially, it is a "smarter" Internet that knows how to refine your search. Instead of getting millions of results, it will narrow those results to specific possibilities based on location, job, age, and purchase history. However, some commentary I have read points to a less accessible Web to smaller businesses wanting to use the premium functions of certain social media sites to grow their business. The implications may not be the same for personal account use.

Up and Coming Mobile Social Media Platforms

http://thesocialobserver.com/up-and-coming-mobile-social-media-platforms/

This article looks at three different social platforms aps that are pretty much for your mobile device.  The three aps are all about making your life easier but it's also about combining different areas of your life.  Having a GPS ap that lets you connect to co-workers and friends to let a person know about construction or cops.  An ap that lets you switch between a personal and business Twitter account with the press of a button.

We are continually making things faster and easier and I sometimes wonder if it is making us lazy.  Despite what many people think, everything does not need to be at our finger tips ready to answer with the click of a button.  To me this convenience has made it easier for us to react in the moment instead of taking a deep breath, calming down and really thinking through whatever it is.

Web 3.0, The Inevitable Upgrade

http://thethirdgen.blogspot.com/2011/02/semantic-web-advantages-disadvantages.html

For this article, I actually read another person's blogger post about the topic. They listed some opinions and a list of pros and cons. However, I am a bit confused about how people can write down pros and cons of something that doesn't even have a true definition. I understand that we can get an idea of what we are working with once we have had some good experience with it, but I don't know that I will ever get over the fact that we don't really know how to define something that is a part of our daily lives.

This article talks all about the development of Web 3.0 and then shopping. I have a serious interest in shopping and I love being able to shop online. I don't even have to change out of my pj's. Shopping online gives people an immense convince. There is also this new thing called auto ship. This means I can have it set so that every month I am automatically shipped a box of diapers and wipes. It takes away the necessity for me to even log on and order them. Isn't that fabulous! Some of the perks of Web 3.0 are amazing.

Web 3.0 - The Future of the Internet

http://socialmetricspro.com/social-media/web-3-0-the-future-of-the-internet/1958/

This article just give a brief history from Web 1.0 to 2.0 and finally to 3.0.  It is not very in-depth but when you don't really understand the difference between the different Webs (like me) it gives a nice overview.  It talks about where 1.0 has gone, what 2.0 gives us and how everything is changing or at least focusing differently with 3.0.  The article finishes up with a brief paragraph concerning marketing and 3.0.  This whole concept of 3.0 and everything being personalized toward my searches, likes and dislikes feels a little like Big Brother.  How do you branch out to new ideas if everything is tailored to what I already like?

Web 3.0 article #1

http://www.uxbooth.com/articles/web-2-0-web-3-0-and-the-internet-of-things/

After our articles posted this week and reading through a few, I felt like this was kind of a good break-down of what Web 2.0 was and what Web 3.0 is.  I felt like it was a little bit easier to understand and gave some good examples.  I think there was a lot of similarities between this article and the video for this week.

Today's Web 3.0 Nonsense Blogstorm

http://radar.oreilly.com/2007/10/todays-web-30-nonsense-blogsto.html

I chose this article because I always like to play the Devil's advocate to challenge people's beliefs and expand their minds. This article challenged the term Web 3.0 and implies that there might be a different term. This article gives a variety of opinions of multiple professionals and heavy users that help me play the part of Devil's advocate.

Luke Friesen- Module 7 Blog Post #2: Facebook and Walmart: What do they have in common?

The future of social media is as much a mystery and as full of potential as the internet itself. According to this article, sites like Facebook could become equivalent of an online Walmart and possibly be pairing in the same role as sites like Amazon.com. Just like Amazon makes suggestions of what to look for next based on what you previously bought, social media will continue to expand that service, even to the point of suggesting coupons and promotions based on your exact location. This article also suggests that social media will be more of a dashboard for company development. The idea of "semantic web" will be the reality, in which, the info we want to know will be coming to us from the companies that collect data on their followers, so we will be fed the info we'd normally have to search for. Imagine combining the governmental concept of "big brother is watching" from the novel "1984," and social media...

Luke Friesen- Module 7: The Future of Social Media and Web 3.0

https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/20140324055730-14091619-effects-of-web-3-0-in-the-new-digital-world

What will the future look like? When we watched shows like The Jetsons in the cartoons, it seemed too far out of reach. This article includes a video of what practical technology that is tailored to individuals may look like. It is futuristic. But elements of it are already here. Didn't you notice that Amazon is very good at suggesting new things to buy based on what you have in the past? It's concepts like this that are pointing to a Web 3.0. Websites will be more interconnected, and therefore your experience on one shopping site may be linked to others you have visited frequently. A future tailored to us entirely: could it be an environment of advancement or of isolation?

Coming Soon-eLearning 3.0

http://www.informationexperts.com/index.php/coming-soon-elearning-3-0/

I thought this article would be interesting for us since we are all eLearning students and some of us (like me) are probably online degree-seeking students. This article discusses how Web 3.0 will change and mold eLearning as it moves forward. Although I am almost done with my degree I am pretty interested in the changes that Web 3.0 might have on eLearning and how this may benefit or harm students.

Module 7 Post #2

React: On Identity, Anonymity and Social Inclusion http://www.business2community.com/social-media/react-on-identity-anonymity-and-social-inclusion-01378129#6b6ZXGpUE5XCYovE.99

This article discusses the changes of social media from the Web2.0 to Web3.0. With Web 2.0, anonymity was the big thing. However, with Web3.0, people are much more connected to their names. This then goes on to discuss how people identify themselves. Some of the popular identifiers are: mom, dad, teacher, gun owner. People are expressing a lot more about themselves today then they ever were before. Also, this discusses that different social media platforms cause people to have a different identifier. Perhaps this is because of the different people that they have on the different sites (ex. friends/family vs. coworkers). I really enjoyed this article. I think that it gives a good look on what is changing in social media as the Web evolves from 2.0 to 3.0.

I love this article. It really breaks down Web 3.0 and explains in very easy terms what it does and is. The article is pretty long but is specifically explains many of the things that Web 3.0 is said to do. Such as check every dentist's appointment book in a certain range so that you could easily find an opening! Some parts of this new web don't really make me happy though such as having it tailored only to my liking's. How will I find new things?
http://www.cnbc.com/2014/10/02/11-predictions-on-the-future-of-social-media.html

11 Predictions on the Future of Social Media, is the title of this article. It starts by saying how social media has changed they way our life works in a matter of less then ten years. It goes on by saying that in the year of 2039 that we could be using social media for virtual explorations. Now I know science is amazing, but i just don't believe that we will be able to virtually travel in 24 years. However I due believe that social media will become the platform for how we live our lives. Now a days you only learn things about people because of their social media page. What happened to the face to face conversations, the paper articles that took weeks to write up?

What is Web 3.0?

http://webtrends.about.com/od/web20/a/what-is-web-30.htm

This article is fairly similar to some of the articles we are to read for this module in that is defines 3.0 and gives us an idea of what it looks like. However, the article states that it is hard to define Web 3.0 when there isn't a very clear definition of what Web 2.0 looks like. Despite this, there are pretty clear ideas of what Web 3.0 offers in terms of new developments, international impact, and where the focus will lie.

Module 7 Article #1

How Twitter can see the financial future - and change it

http://www.startupsmart.com.au/technology/social-media/how-twitter-can-see-the-financial-future-and-change-it/2015111015898.html

This article discusses the effect that Twitter can have on the view people have on economics and the financial world. It talks about research that supports the fact that what people are saying and sharing on social media and how that has real effects on markets. It also says that Twitter tends to have more impact than Facebook. What people say on Twitter can change the future of markets.

I think that this article shows how social media has evolved and shows the future of social media. It is not just about connecting with friends and family, it can have a real impact on the markets. This takes social media to a more serious level. It seems that this will only increase in the future and social media will effect many more parts of people's lives.

Mobile Web Surfers Again Facing Unexpected Redirects To App Store, Native Apps

http://techcrunch.com/2015/03/19/mobile-web-surfers-again-facing-unexpected-redirects-to-app-store-native-apps/#.tpynwmz:pI0p

I chose this article because it touched on both the use of a mobile for surfing the Internet and the targeting of users of particular websites. With us talking about Web 3.0 I got to thinking about how we use our mobile phones so often and how that must be a huge target audience. There are tons of shady advertisers that have redirecting ads that take you to a completely different page when you click certain links. It went away for a while, but it seems to be coming back.

Traysea Gilmore Module 5 Post 2

Whisper is a platform that I haven't heard much about. It is similar to Yik Yak in that users can make anonymous posts. There is an app for tablets and phones as well as a desktop site. It is very popular among younger users and they "confess" things that they wouldn't normally confess to people. I don't see this platform as being beneficial to any non-profit organization. It doesn't bring in a larger audience and does nothing for business.

Module 5 Article #2 Lindsie Woolley

Meetup is the second social media site that I looked at using. Meetup has various features that let its users find other users to meet up, hence the name. This app is free to its users. Its ease of use seemed pretty simple, but just like every other social media site the first time you log on you have to figure out how to do things. This site would be a fabulous way for an NPO to get people to their facilities. For instance Classic Car could reach out to people who are interested in cars and let them know that certain car clubs are meeting there. It would really be a good way to get more people in the loop.

Brady Vieth Post 2 Module 5

 http://60secondmarketer.com/blog/2010/04/09/top-52-social-media-platforms/

I found another cool social media site called MyLife. MyLife is a way for family to connect with each other. It is important for families to be able to stay close to each other and stay in contact. Families can't always live close to each other so social media has created a way for them to stay in touch and keep close. According to the website above the user interface is very good and easy to use, which I think is very important because if people can't figure out how to use the site they will find another.

Chance Bila, Module 5- post #4

Ask.fm is social networking site allowing people to ask others questions and get responses. It is relatively simple to use. after creating an account you can simply just find a person and ask them any question. You can evenly submit a question anonymously. As, this site has been up been active for several years now its sustainability has proven to be very low. Speaking from personal experience, Ask.fm has proved to be much of a "trend" social media site like Wigo. With that being said, I do not see this social media site being an effective tool for my NPO. Any questions needed to be answered by the Kearney Humane society should be over the phone or in person in a professional matter. this site is not an effective professional too for marketing Kearney Humane Society.
